Everyone has one of those crazy family members that drives them insane. I am no exception. My Aunt Maggie is one of those people who is quite hard to be around for extended periods of time. I feel really bad for her though because she does not realize that she is so annoying. She genuinely cares about people, and she loves to have people over to her house to cook for them. Everyone else in my family refuses to go to her house. They just come up with excuses every single time that she invites them over. I think that she has caught on, and she is probably really upset about it. I try to go over and visit her every couple of months because I know she loves the company. The problem is that she has a very obsessive personality, so once she starts talking about something she is interested in, she never stops. I mean she will talk about the same thing for hours upon hours until you leave her house. The last time I went, I heard a three hour speech on humidifiers. I have to admit that I learned a lot about humidifiers, but I could only pay attention to what she was saying for so long. After the first forty-five minutes, I was done. There is really only so much to learn about humidifiers and their benefits to your health. She was convinced into buying a humidifier a few months ago, and ever since then, she has been trying to sell them to everyone she meets. She has called me three times since I last visited her and talked to me about humidifiers. I really do love her, but I don’t think that I can take anymore talk about humidifiers.
