They instructed me that a zoning system would allow me to control the temperature in my office separately from other rooms in the house.
Recently I was given the opportunity to transition from a task with a commute, to a task from home! I was actually excited about this change, because I could spend close to 45 minutes just driving one way to toil each afternoon. I was so excited when I prepared my new household office and set up my new toil area; My first afternoon of at-household toil came, and I noticed that the temperature seemed to be actually high. As my breaks came, I went to adjust the control unit on our bottom floor, and would walk back up the stairs and notice a big difference in temperature, having been gone most days to work, I never noticed the temperature difference between our upstairs and downstairs. My office was upstairs, so I knew I would need to find some way to bring the temperature down. My office also was facing an section that got a lot of afternoonlight during the afternoon, so this did not help with the heat I felt. I initially obtained some curtains to help keep the afternoonlight to a minimum, but this did not help how I wanted it to with temperature control. I finally reached out to our HVAC business to come and evaluate our system, however the HVAC business suggested a zoning system. They instructed me that a zoning system would allow me to control the temperature in my office separately from other rooms in the house. Hearing this, I instantly knew this is what I needed to do. I proceeded with the upgrade, and I have been actually satisfied with the change in temperature. I now feel comfortable in my office, and I do not have to waste my cut time changing the downstairs control unit.
