Fireplace is lifesaver when boiler stops working

Our boiler could not have gone out at a worse time… My nice friend and I had the youngsters and grandyoungsters all over for the holidays… It had taken a bit of shuffling but my nice friend and I had a locale for everyone to sleep, and the adults each got a room and the youngsters all slept on the floor in sleeping bags in the study room.

The first afternoon was very chaotic with 6 youngsters running around plus 4 more adults in the house.

My nice friend and I had just finished breakfast when my nice friend and I noticed that it was getting chilly in the house. I adjusted the thermostat and then my nice friend and I all went out and had some fun. My nice friend and I didn’t get back to the apartment until after brunch. I was ready to relax and overheated up a bit in a overheated house, and unluckyly, that wasn’t possible. It was chilly chilly in the house. The boiler wasn’t working at all. I quickly called up our heating corporation but they said it would be 4 days before they could send someone out; What to do? I had a apartment full of family. Thankfully my nice friend and I have a fireplace that my nice friend and I almost never use. I used what wood my nice friend and I did have and got it going. Then my child and I went out and got more wood while the apartment warmed up. My nice friend and I also picked up a few space furnaces for the kitchens. I don’t guess my nice friend and I will end up needing those space heaters. The apartment was nice and overheated by the time my nice friend and I got back. Thank God for a fireplace. My nice friend and I entirely should use this fireplace more often. It is very nice and lets off a very seasonal glow.
