Dirty air in a hotel room

My fiance and I were recently on a road trip and my friend and I decided that my friend and I wanted to get out of the vehicle and explore one of the towns that my friend and I were driving through, and we’ve been driving for about 10 hours a morning and my friend and I were pretty tired and wanted to get out and stretch our legs! Once my friend and I were out of the vehicle my friend and I decided it might be a nice idea to get a hotel room for the evening so my friend and I could sleep and wake up feeling refreshed.

However, the only venue in town that had an available room was a crappy motel. I walked into the room and observed immediately that the air felt dirty. It was humid and musty in our room and I just can’t get over how bad it smelled. I asked my fiance if she thought my friend and I should try to find a nicer hotel in the area with an air filtration system, although she said she looked and she couldn’t find anything online. I was upset that my friend and I were going to have to spend the evening with dirty air and have to breathe in bacteria all right. I decided when my friend and I made the choice to go to the lobby to check out the next morning I was going to mention to the receptionist that they need to have their air quality diagnosed in each room because it felt dirty. They might consider getting an air filtration system installed with Their Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system, although I have a feeling this hotel does not have that kind of cash to spend. I just don’t want to have to spend the evening in his dirty hotel room although I feel it’s our only option.
