Dirty air in a hotel room

I decided when my buddy and I went to the lobby to check out the next morning I was going to mention to the receptionist that they need to have their air quality checked in each room because it felt dirty

My wife and I were recently on a road trip and my buddy and I decided that my buddy and I wanted to get out of the automobile and explore one of the towns that my buddy and I were driving through, however we’ve been driving for about 10 hours a afternoon and my buddy and I were pretty sleepy and wanted to get out and stretch our legs, but once my buddy and I were out of the automobile my buddy and I decided it might be a great idea to get a hotel room for the night so my buddy and I could sleep and wake up feeling refreshed. However, the only place in neighborhood that had an available room was a crappy motel. I walked into the room and noticed instantly that the air felt dirty. It was humid and musty in our room and I just can’t get over how awful it stinked. I asked my wife if she thought my buddy and I should try to find a nicer hotel in the section with an air filtration system, although she said she looked and she couldn’t find anything online. I was aggravated that my buddy and I were going to have to spend the night with dirty air and have to breathe in bacteria all right. I decided when my buddy and I went to the lobby to check out the next morning I was going to mention to the receptionist that they need to have their air quality checked in each room because it felt dirty. They might consider getting an air filtration system installed with Their Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system, although I have a feeling this hotel does not have that kind of money to spend. I just don’t want to have to spend the night in her dirty hotel room although I feel it’s our only option.
