Dirty air in a hotel room

Dirty air in a hotel room

My wife and I were recently on a road trip and we decided that we wanted to get out of the car and explore one of the towns that we were driving through.

We’ve been driving for about 10 hours a day and we were pretty tired and wanted to get out and stretch our legs.

Once we were out of the car we decided it might be a good idea to get a hotel room for the night so we could sleep and wake up feeling refreshed. However, the only place in town that had an available room was a crappy motel. I walked into the room and noticed right away that the air felt dirty. It was humid and musty in our room and I just can’t get over how bad it smelled. I asked my wife if she thought we should try to find a nicer hotel in the area with an air filtration system, but she said she looked and she couldn’t find anything online. I was upset that we were going to have to spend the night with dirty air and have to breathe in bacteria all right. I decided when we went to the lobby to check out the next morning I was going to mention to the receptionist that they need to have their air quality checked in each room because it felt dirty. They might consider getting an air filtration system installed with Their HVAC system, but I have a feeling this hotel does not have that kind of money to spend. I just don’t want to have to spend the night in his dirty hotel room but I guess it’s our only option.
