This summer, my AC has not been working the best

I’m so infuriated with the outdoor weather.

It has been severely sizzling and dry for the past 6 weeks.

Temperatures are 95° or higher every single day. My AC has not been working the best. I cleaned the air filter and I also cleaned the condensate drain line! Nothing helps the AC labor better. My buddy and I are supposed to get 5 days in a row of temperatures over 105° next week and I am already dreading the heat. I have been thinking about buying an extra AC unit for my home. I looked at all of the possibilities online and it looks like a portable unit might labor out well. I could transport the portable AC unit from room to room and have the additional cool air right where I want it. I have looked at a lot of the possibilities online and everything is pretty fancy. I was hoping to be able to find a portable air conditioning that was less than $200, and unblessedly, most portable air conditionings are more than $200 and that is something that is not affordable right now for me. I have not been able to get full-time hours at labor due to a back injury. I am only working 28 hours every week and that means that most of my paycheck goes to bills like rent, water, and electricity. I could genuinely scrape together $200 in the next week by asking a bunch of friends, but there is no way that I can get $400 and that short amount of time. I assume I am going to need to buy some extra aluminum foil to site on the windows.
