Ductless mini split systems can have heating and AC options and they have a much more attractive and appealing design then a traditional window unit. Mini split heating and AC systems are very energy efficient. Because there is no duct work, there is no loss of heat or cool air. These systems however, are not easy to fix. I honestly didn’t know the first thing to look at to attempt to troubleshoot the situation. I have some knowledge on window AC units, but these machines are far more advanced than a simple window AC system. I believed it was better to contact the repair company, so they could send a certified technician to help.
